Who are we?

We are a group of health professionals, breastfeeding supporters and breastfeeding parents who are all passionate about ensuring that breastfeeding support is available equally to people of all skin colours. This means that professionals, breastfeeding supporters and families should have access to images of lactating breast conditions in people of all skin colours.

What is our aim?

We will operate an open access image library of breast conditions relating to breast/chestfeeding (like mastitis, nipple eczema, thrush and abscess), with an emphasis on what these conditions look like in people with Black and Brown skin. This will be published and shared freely online as an educational resource. You can read our full Vision and Aims.

What do we need?

We are looking for photos of breast conditions or skin conditions in the lactating breast/chest to add to our open access image library. If you have photos or would like to take one, please follow our submission guidance.
